Day Off

I decided to take some time off to do some cleaning and take care of some personal errands. I ran across a box with some of my many watches that I used to wear. Many of them were broken from cracked faces, broken hands and worn out bands. 

I managed to find one that was in good condition.

I decided that I wanted to make a new band for it. I never made a watch band before but I am always interested in trying something new. I warped my loom, while attaching the watch head and went to weaving.

I ran into a few complications but in a matter of minutes I managed to get a it finished.

I learned quite a bit about making beaded bands and I look forward to make more. It just goes to show you that using your creativity will take you further to finding joys and things to appreciate. Now I cannot wait to make a hundred more using many kinds of watches and beads! :)
