Weaver of Dreams
Often times I am thinking about my life and everything that I want in it. From detail to mood to location to people to even how I want the weather to be. But the only way to make anything visible is to make it so and do it.
It is like making fabric or beading on a loom, We start weaving by stringing and warping vertical threads on a loom to create the foundation of a new cloth. Then the wefting of horizontal threads are interlaced back and forth, up and down…and we create a fabric. As the cloth begins to form, new possibilities open before us. Before we even see the big overall picture. We make changes and try different things, forming something unimaginable. The beauty is in our movement and the most important move is to begin.
As much as I want possibilities, I cannot do nothing about it staying still. We have the power and the potential to do great things, to achieve greatness, but all of that means nothing if we do not make the choice to put it to action. I find myself continuously talking about how I want to do this and become that and I steady continuing to sit on do nothing about it. Talking is not enough, it is time to do. If we can take the risk of the first step and keep our eyes open, we will see the next step. Too much planning, too much carefulness and analysis, may block all action. Sometimes the best way to get into something is not think about it and just jump into something. As long as you have a foundation to hold you. Things will be okay and if they don’t, at least we can say that we tried.
